Valuation details search
On this page
What will I get from a South Australian valuation details search?
A South Australian valuation details search provides valuation information about a title including:
- registered proprietor
- parcel and valuation details.
Valuation numbers with a ‘Proposed current’ status won’t show site or capital values.
What do I provide for a search?
You can search by:
Street address
Simply enter a full or partial street address, and we’ll retrieve a list of all current available titles for properties matching that address, free of charge.
You can then browse the list and select as many as you require. Each title you order a search for incurs a separate charge.
We’ll show you the total cost before you place your order.
Volume/folio (title reference)
This method will search the title registry for an exact match and returns current valuation numbers.
You should only use this method if you’re certain that the volume/folio details you have will return the title you require for your search.
Simply select the appropriate title register, then enter the volume/folio number.
Valuation number
Include the valuation number. The valuation number is ten digits and may include an asterisk. It can also be referred to as an assessment number.
We’ll retrieve the title with the related valuation, which will be current or cancelled.
Select the title from the list of possible matches. Each title you order a search for will incur a separate charge.
We’ll show you the total cost before you place your order.
What can I use the result for?
- Obtain current and previous site and capital value
- Research property type and improvements
- Home buyer and investor research
How will I receive my results?
You have multiple options to obtain your results once you’ve completed your search and arrived at the My results page.
For example, you can:
- download the results for individual land titles as PDFs as soon as they return from Land Services SA
- request an email containing all successful results as individual PDF attachments.
If you’ve searched for multiple land titles, we’ll also provide a ZIP archive containing all successfully returned results.
Your search results are stored in your Confirm inbox/My results section of the Confirm website for 30 calendar days. A link to this section is in the Confirm header menu available on all pages. Specifically, select the Application ‘SALO – SA Land Searches’ and enter date and time details to see your past South Australian land search results.
