How do I sign in to Confirm?

Simply enter your account code on the sign in page and click Continue, or press Enter.

Some Confirm users will sign in with an account code and password only, while others will need to supply an additional UserID (typically users within an organisation where there are multiple Confirm accounts). Our system will determine the appropriate sign in method for your account automatically, once you’ve entered your account code.

What if I forget my password?

If you can’t remember your password, you can attempt to reset it online by selecting the ‘Forgot your password?’ link, after you have entered your account code. If we have enough information to identify your account, we’ll send a reset link to the email address associated with your account.

If we don’t have enough information, or if you no longer have access to the email address associated with your account, you’ll be asked to submit an account recovery request. Once we’ve confirmed you’re the rightful account holder, we can recover your Confirm account.

What if I can’t remember my account details?

If you can’t remember your account code or UserID, you’ll need to contact our Customer Service Centre between 8:00am – 5:00pm (AEST), Monday to Friday for assistance. You can call us on 1800 773 773 or email us at confirm@citec.com.au.

We take security very seriously and need to manually verify the authenticity of your request. Once we’ve confirmed you’re the rightful account holder, we can recover your Confirm account.

Do I still need my SecureId to access ‘High Security’ restricted services?

A separate SecureId is no longer required to access restricted services (eg police reports). As a result of the upgrades we’ve made to our core systems and user accounts, High Security Access is now tied directly to your Confirm account. Upon entering a restricted service, you’ll simply be asked to re-authenticate.

If you were previously assigned a SecureId and password to access our ‘High Security’ products, these credentials are no longer valid. You should have been made aware of this change by your organisation’s nominated Information Security Officer (ISO).
